The missions of this association are to:

• Promote the professional development of dental hygiene educators
• Act as an organized voice for dental hygiene education in legislative matters
• Act as an advocate of the public in relation to dental hygiene education issues
• Develop and share dental hygiene educational resources, and
• Promote the dental hygiene profession
